My Journey to Healing and Helping Others

Following the life changing consequences of divorce, I struggled to cope with my new reality and sense of loss. Thankfully, I was strengthened by the support of my mother, Siblings and my closest friends. I quickly discovered that my healing journey started from within, and by giving of myself I received my rewards tenfold. Through my humility and acceptance, I gained the strength to carry on. I remain actively involved with a few charitable organisations which have become a fruitful part of my spiritual life.

So why hypnotherapy? Why specifically RTT?

I wanted to understand and learn more about my mental health that could benefit me and in return to help others. Having left school without sitting any of my “O” grades, I returned to higher education as a mature student and graduated as a mental health nurse aged 50. Since then, I have worked within care home environments, but have always been drawn towards being some type of therapist but didn’t know what at this stage.

I then discovered Rapid Transformation Therapy (RTT) by chance while watching Marisa Peer being interview on YouTube and realised that at that moment that was what I was destined to do.

The beauty of hypnotherapy attracted me as it bypasses the critical conscious mind that can keep us stuck. RTT is designed to get to the root cause quickly to facilitate healing to begin. Within my reflective practice training with fellow students, I had my aha moment of understanding how and why my subconscious mind worked to protect and keep me safe the way it did for which I will be forever grateful.

Now that I am graduated, I combine my life experience and extensive RTT training with curiosity and empathy to help others be the best version of themselves by untying the emotional bonds that keep them stuck in their past and embrace their future with confidence and inner freedom.
